Embrace the season that you are in.

If you are reading this, that means it was meant for you. Today I want to encourage you to embrace the season that you are in. Yes... even if you hate it, even if it's hard, even if you don't want too.

You see my love, life is guaranteed to be hard. No matter who you are, no matter your background no matter what you do or don't do you ARE going to encounter a season in your life that you simply just don't want to be in. Take a moment to look at your life like the seasons you see in nature. You have winter, summer, spring, and fall. While there is beauty in every season each one comes with their bad side. It is up to you to choose what you are going to focus on while you're in that particular season. In the winter you're either going to stay inside any chance you get or you're going to embrace the snow and rent a cabin in the mountains, maybe even go snowboarding. In the spring you can complain about the bugs, the pollen, and your allergies or you can enjoy the beauty of nature blossoming before your very eyes. In the fall you can complain about it getting cold and hold on to the summer you now have to leave behind or you can appreciate the transformation that you get to witness magically unfold. In the summer you can dread the heat and all the summer storms or you can connect with your inner child and dance in the rain. The choice is always yours, it's always about perspective. Your life is no different. The season you are in whether it is as cold as winter or as stormy as summer it is necessary for who you are ultimately becoming.

This is a gentle reminder that just like in nature you cannot rush the season you're in. It will end when it is meant to end. Instead of running from the pain ask yourself what is this meant to blossom in me. What is this season meant to teach me? What can I do to make this season easier to handle? What can I be grateful for in this season?

This is a reminder to change your perspective on where you are in your life. Open yourself up to the hidden opportunities for growth this season has to offer. Always remember every season has a purpose and you are strong enough to get through it all. Until next time.

Love, Jas.
