Why can't it be you?

This is a question I had to interrupt my thoughts with all week long! I've spent too much time thinking I wasn't good enough, feeding my self-doubt and in my head, thinking but never executing. So, I simply stopped. I asked myself, why do I give myself such little credit? Why is that a core belief that I have? Long story short, with a little time and self -reflection I realized that as I grew up I internalized that lie..."I'm not good enough", "nobody is going to want to hear what I have to say", "things like THAT don't happen to people like ME", "I've made too many mistakes"... I repeated those lies to myself my whole life. But I finally came to the realization that it CAN be me. I haven't disqualified myself from the plans God has for me because He still decided to wake me up this morning and give me a brand new opportunity to make different decisions... I actually get to be whoever I choose to be.
If you're reading this, that means it was meant for you... It CAN be you. You are not your past mistakes, you are not your doubts or your negative thoughts you are simply whoever you choose to be. If it can be anyone it can be you. Put the work in to change you are. Feed who you are becoming and starve who you used to be. Every time you doubt yourself interrupt the thought with WHY CAN'T IT BE YOU???? If you're willing to put the work in, if you're willing to stay consistent, it most definitely CAN be you. You've spent too much life believing the inadequacy lie. Make today the day. Sit with yourself, evaluate your thoughts when was the first time in your life you believed you weren't good enough to achieve something you really wanted to do? Let's disarm every lie you've made a core belief until you TRULY believe it CAN be you. Because it really can...
Until next time,
Love, Jas.
